The Berkeley Potters Guild is proud to participate in the East Bay Clay Roots Ceramics Open Studio Tour as part of the annual NCECA conference which is hosted in Sacramento this year. Sixteen galleries and studios are participating and you can check out the map here: EBCR.

For the gallery tour, we are having a special show called “Rare Earth” and this is my piece for the show. It is called “In Danger” and is wheel thrown porcelain cups or bud vases on a carrying tray. Each of the images on the pieces are my abstract representations of extinct or endangered flowers or plants.

During the gallery event, we will also be offering tours of our historic building where the Guild has been located since 1971. I am personally working the second and third of the dates listed here, so if you have wanted to meet me, see my studio or just say hi, stop by on the 15th or 19th.
