Holiday Pop Up Shop At UC Berkeley

Dec 18 2025

If you haven’t heard the latest news on the streets, I am teaching beginning pottery classes at UC Berkeley’s Community Studio called the Berkeley Art Studio. You don’t need to be a student to attend these classes!

They invited me to participate in their Annual Holiday Pop Up Shop and I gleefully agreed to participate. However, with the Potters Guild show occurring and holiday sales in general, I was concerned that I wouldn’t have enough work. So at the last minute, I used an old bag of random white clay laying around and punched out these trinket dishes in two sizes.

Since it was for the pop-up shop, I decided to do some fun, silly designs that I normally don’t do on my regular ezme pieces. They are all things I am totally obsessed with like bigfoot, rainbows and unicorns. I think they actually turned out great and were a huge hit. I sold out of everything but about 3-4 trays.

Needless to say, I think I will revisit these fun little circular, wobbly, silly trinket trays in the future for more sales!

Oh and I forgot to post about the show on my blog before it occurred. Whoops! Told ya I was busy!!!
