I will be participating in a one day show at the Abrams-Claghorn Gallery on Solano Avenue in Albany, CA. If you don’t know, I typically sell my work there year round, but this show will give me the opportunity to sell some new wares and more pieces at a time than you can normally purchase through the store. It will be on June 15th from 10am-6pm which is also the day before Father’s Day!
I started making these cockatiel bird mugs to joining my aviary of pigeons, fat blue birds, and lovebirds and I think they are a little more masculine colored. I do tend towards really girlie looks and have been trying to make some items that appeal to men too so let me know what you think… I’ve also started putting the birds in deep bowls and they have been really popular as well. What can I say – put a bird on it! ha!
